Ballenas Properties up for Commercial Building Awards
Two of Ballenas Housing Society’s newest buildings have been nominated as finalists for the 17th Annual Vancouver Island Commercial Building Awards.
360 and 364 Moilliet Street S, Parksville was designed by D-Architecture and completed in Spring 2023 by Windley Contracting Ltd. This impressive complex features 8 three-bedroom townhomes with full kitchens two washrooms and ensuite laundry, and a 4-storey apartment building with 79 rental homes with full kitchens, washrooms with walk-in showers. Shared laundry is offered on three floors and secure parking is available below the apartment building.
Hammond Bay Residences, located at 6010 Hammond Bay Road, Nanaimo, and designed by Murdoch and Co was completed in Fall 2023 by Westmark Construction Ltd. This beautiful 4-storey apartment building features 53 rental homes with full kitchens, washrooms featuring walk-in showers, and balconies. Shared laundry is offered on all floors and secure parking is available below the building.
The award ceremony will be held on April 11 at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre.
